Cleafy joins the Cyber Defence Alliance to strengthen collective response to cyber and fraud threats

London, UK 29 May 2025 – Cleafy, the cybersecurity company helping banks and financial institutions detect and prevent online fraud, has joined the Cyber Defence Alliance (CDA) as part of its ongoing commitment to industry collaboration and intelligence sharing.

The CDA is a not-for-profit organisation that brings together financial institutions and law enforcement to share real-time intelligence and coordinate responses to cybercrime. As a new member, Cleafy will contribute insights and threat intelligence from Cleafy LABS, the company’s dedicated research and threat-hunting division.

By joining the Alliance, Cleafy aims to support the early detection of advanced fraud campaigns, speed up incident response, and help protect customers across the financial ecosystem. The partnership will also enable Cleafy to take part in joint initiatives with other CDA members to improve cyber resilience across the sector.

“Collaboration is one of the most effective tools we have to fight cybercrime. Joining the Cyber Defence Alliance enables us to share what we’re seeing on the ground and work together with peers to tackle the threats facing banks and their customers,” said Matteo Bogana, CEO and co-founder at Cleafy.

This partnership aligns with Cleafy’s ongoing work with financial institutions across Europe to help detect threats that traditional security tools often miss.
