Job description

Cleafy is looking for a Senior Customer Engineer that is eager to help protect primary Global Financial Institutions from the most advanced attacks and fraud patterns. Cleafy Customer Engineer must have the ability to earn the respect and trust of each customer through knowledge and understanding of service delivery and how these fit into our customer’s overall environment.

As part of the Cleafy Customer Engineering team, you will support our customers in deploying, adopting, and integrating Cleafy Platform solutions to manage frauds at scale.

A successful candidate must be action-oriented, capable of effectively identifying customers’ needs, and independently solve complex technical problems with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including being able to interact with senior executives.

  • Design, review and validate the high-level architecture of the solution (data flows, integration methods, technical processes) in relation to customers’ requirements and existing infrastructure
  • Leads in implementation projects to deploy Cleafy solution
  • Manage, review and validate all the technical, functional, and strategic aspects of a customer integration project including assessment, configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, and go-live support
  • Identify customer needs, map them to technical requirements and provide recommendations on product functions that satisfy them
  • Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies
  • Resolve technical problems as they arise
  • Guide other engineers to ensure project and customer success
  • Create and maintain documentation on installations, procedures, and project deliverables
  • Work on new and existing product initiatives and take a lead role in the definition of various product direction


  • 5+ years of system integration in complex enterprise environments
  • In-depth technical knowledge in one or more relevant areas for the Cleafy business, such as application delivery controllers, load balancers, WAF, endpoint security, proxies, or network management
  • Good knowledge of integrations with cloud environments (e.g. Aws, Google Cloud, Azure)
  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, and other technologies involved in delivering sophisticated web services
  • Knowledge of Linux systems and basic shell commands (e.g. netcat, tcpdump, mounting volumes, etc.)
  • Knowledge of containerization principles and tools (e.g. Docker, Podman, etc.)
  • Knowledge of automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze complex scenarios, and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolution
  • Fluency in English
Other Requirements
  • BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related disciplines
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security principles and best practices
  • Knowledge of Spanish, French or German is a plus
  • A good understanding of Android and iOS platforms and ecosystems is a plus
  • Optional: Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python
  • Optional: CISSP, CEH, Security+, Network+ or similar certifications
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills, for both restricted and wider groups with the ability to adapt the message to the audience
